Google AI for the New Year - Recorded Webinar

Η αγένεια των σημερινών παιδιών: ένα φαινόμενο της εποχής μας

 

Πότε ήταν η τελευταία φορά που ακούστηκε ένα καθαρό, αυθόρμητο «ευχαριστώ» μέσα σε μια σχολική αίθουσα; Πότε το βλέμμα ενός μαθητή συνάντησε εκείνο του δασκάλου του με σεβασμό και όχι με αδιαφορία ή ειρωνεία;

Όλο και συχνότερα, οι δάσκαλοι περιγράφουν σκηνές που κάποτε θα θεωρούνταν αδιανόητες: μαθητές που διακόπτουν επιδεικτικά το μάθημα, που απαντούν με θράσος, που σηκώνουν τους ώμους αδιάφορα μπροστά σε μια παρατήρηση. Παιδιά που μιλούν στους εκπαιδευτικούς τους σαν να βρίσκονται σε διαδικτυακό σχόλιο — σύντομα, κοφτά, χωρίς φίλτρο. Είναι αυτή απλώς «αυτοπεποίθηση» ή μήπως μια βαθύτερη έλλειψη σεβασμού;

Από την έκθεση δεδομένων χρηστών έως τη διευκόλυνση επιθέσεων, από την υπονόμευση της ακεραιότητας της πληροφορίας έως τη δημιουργία ευπαθειών στην αλυσίδα εφοδιασμού, τα εργαλεία AI στηρίζονται και ταυτόχρονα υπονομεύονται από αμφίβολες πρακτικές ασφαλείας. Αυτό έχει σοβαρές επιπτώσεις για την εμπιστευτικότητα των δεδομένων μας, για την ακεραιότητα της πληροφορίας και για την πρόσβαση και διαθεσιμότητα των συστημάτων — όλα προβλήματα που μια προσέγγιση σεβασμού των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων μπορεί να βοηθήσει να επιλύσει.
